You can’t go wrong with a classic. Chef Adam Handling’s Hot Toddy is the perfect cure for a cold wintery night.
50ml of whisky
2 x teaspoons of runny honey
25ml lemon juice
1 x cinnamon stick
1 Boil the kettle.
2 Add 50ml of whisky, 2 x teaspoons of runny honey, 25ml lemon juice, 1 x cinnamon stick into a heat proof glass (with a handle).
3 Top up the glass with boiling water.
4 Garnish with grated nutmeg and a slice of lemon.
