Caprices Festival Returns For Its 14th Edition

Taking place in the luxury mountain resort of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, Caprices Festival is set to return for its 14th exciting edition from April 6-9.

The resort will play host to a wealth of prolific electronic acts (Ricardo Villalobos, Marcel Dettmann, Kerri Chandler, Mathew Jonson, Seth Troxler, Sven Väth, Sonja Moonear + more), on three stage locations across 4 days. Combining all the benefits of an urban lifestyle within a mountain setting, guests can enjoy fantastic music alongside and spectacular views alongside a wide selection of eateries ranging from mountain huts to award-winning restaurants, numerous boutiques and shops, a wellness centre and a variety of entertainment including 140km of pistes, an illuminated ice skating rink, an eco museum and even 3D bowling.

Located right on top of the ski runs, the venue fuses tradition with modernity and offers a breath-taking panoramic view. The inauguration evening for the third stage of the festival (Saturday, 8th April, starting at 7pm) will see a succession of world class artists.

The line-up includes Ricardo Villalobos performing solo (as well as later playing back-to-back with Seth Troxler on the MDRNTY stage in the afternoon), Sonja Moonear, Franky Greiner, and Dorian Paic. As well as this, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and the Talaboman duo will be filling the Moon with their powerful techno sounds.

Maxine Léonard, the festival director commented “I wanted to create a completely different atmosphere for our premiere at the Cry d’ER. Ricardo Villalobos will be there and, despite being a regular at Caprices, each of his sets is always a surprise. His musical tone is exactly what I was looking for for this event. Melodious and cosmic.”
