#CookForSyria Is Coming To Seven Dials

The world’s first #CookForSyria pop-up café is opening in Seven Dials for the festive season.

The innovative #CookForSyria café at 36 Monmouth Street will offer a range of mouth-watering treats, including mezze from Chef Imad Alarnab’s Syrian Kitchen and baked goods from Lily Vanilli, as well as special guest bakers.

Open daily from 10am until 7pm until Christmas Eve, shoppers can also pick up a copy of the #CookForSyria cookbook launched earlier this year.

All proceeds from the #CookForSyria cookbook, baked goods, and a donation from each Imad’s Syrian Kitchen dish will go to Unicef UK’s children of Syrian fund. Customers are encouraged to donate more to this much-needed cause.

What’s on the menu:
Imad Alarnab’s
much loved mezze will be on offer every day to take away or eat in at the Monmouth street café. Hummus and baba ganoush will be accompanied by mezze such as fattoush, tabbouleh, ‘ful mudammas’ (fava beans, olive oil, garlic and cumin), labneh and flatbread.

A daily-changing variety of pastries, cakes and mince pies will be served every day from London’s top bakers including Lily Vanilli, Bread Ahead, The Good Egg, Henrietta Inman and many more.

And of course, the #CookForSyria cookbook will be on sale, the perfect Christmas present for budding cooks. The recipe book includes traditional recipes and stories from Syrian families (handed down from generations) and further modern recipes with Syrian-inspired twists from leading chefs and cooks.
