Craft London To Host Beekeeping Masterclass & Dinner

Taking place to mark the end of the honey harvest season, on Saturday 9th September, Stevie Parle and the Craft London team will partner with urban beekeepers The London Honey Company to host a special beekeeping masterclass and honey-inspired dinner.

The day-to-evening honey celebrations will start off at 3pm with a two-hour ‘Beekeeping for Beginners’ masterclass, featuring an interactive and informative workshop filled with an insight into the unique craft of beekeeping, with a visit to the on-site beehives too.

From 6.30pm, Stevie Parle and Head Chef Ana Cortes Garcia will welcome guests to the restaurant for a special dinner with a honey-inspired menu that will be hosted by gardener Alys Fowler and Steve Benbow from The London Honey Company to celebrate their new book, Letters to a Beekeeper.

The evening menu will include a champagne & honey sweetened cocktail to start, followed by a selection of snacks and three course dinner, all using honey from Craft London’s own bees. The menu will feature dishes such as British feta with sea buckthorn, summer berries, Craft honey and rose hips, fermented honey-glazed duck breast with heritage baby carrot, purslane and jus ad Bakewell tart with cobnut frangipane and bilberry & honey jam to finish.

Guests who attend the dinner will also be able to buy Letters to a Beekeeper at a discounted rate.
