From free burgers to relaxing massages, discover the best ways to replenish and rejuvenate after the gruelling challenge on Sunday 23rd April Refuel after the London Marathon with free dim sum at Royal China According to experts, the average Marathon runner will burn between 2900 and 3500 calories as they negotiate the 26.3 mile Virgin London Marathon course. To help replenish their depleted fuel tanks, the Royal China Group will be offering competitors a free dim sum dish when dining in one of their six London restaurants on the day of the marathon. Diners simply need to present their marathon medal to a member of staff on arrival at the restaurant to receive their free feast. Find out more here. Mac & Wild Congratulates marathon medal holders with free Veni-Moo burgers Roll up, roll up! Scottish champions Mac & Wild will be congratulating all London Marathon runners on Monday 24th April with free Veni-Moo burgers. Mac & Wild will be offering all Marathon runners their infamous, award winning, Veni-moo burger, complete with one beef patty, one venison patty, gherkins, caramelised onions, cheese and bearnaise sauce, served in a brioche bun. Post Marathon Rejuvenation at bhuti This year, Richmond’s well-being eco-escape bhuti, will be offering all Marathon runners a free yoga class when they book in for one of bhuti’s massage treatments, the perfect way for your body to recover post marathon. Choose from a selection of massages for the ultimate post-run relaxation. Marathon runners who book into bhuti for a massage will also be given a complimentary yoga session either before or after their treatment. Pitstop for marathon fuel at The George, Isle of Dogs The George are out in force to support marathon runners, opening early on the 23rd April they will be serving bacon butties to those family and friends who have come to support their loved ones. As the runners pass The George at mile 17, cheers and water will be supplied – as well as butties for any brave runner in need of some fuel. See more here. Free Pint for any Medal Wearer at Hippo Inns Any runner wearing a medal will get a free pint at any of the Hippo Inn venues including, the Lillie Langtry in West Brompton, The Eagle on Ladbroke Grove, the Duke of Sussex in Waterloo and the Islington Townhouse. Run for your roast at Mr Fogg’s Tavern If the thought of a gigantic, gravy soaked Yorkshire pudding is enough to push you through that last gruelling mile, it’s worth adding Mr Fogg’s Tavern to your running route as your final destination. All runners will be rewarded with the ultimate indulgent meal – a Mr Fogg’s Tavern roast dinner plus a pint – all on the house!
