Fenchurch Launches Corker Of A Wine Series

Connoisseurs and amateurs alike can rejoice in the delicious new wine series dinners launching this autumn at Fenchurch, Sky Garden’s elevated restaurant.  Taking place throughout October and November, guests are invited to visit the Vinoly Room, the venue’s beautiful private dining room, to join some of the very best wine makers from across the globe for a series of delicious dinners.

Diners can learn about the complexities involved in blending traditional and modern winemaking techniques, vineyards, growing conditions, properties of the wines and the grape-to-glass process; followed by a six course tasting menu created by Head Chef Zac Whittle – with each dish paired with a selection of exquisite wines.

The first evening in the series will take place on 11th October, and will feature a tasting with the Finca Allende wine estate from the Rioja region in Spain. Dishes will range from succulent smoked eel with red cabbage, cod roe and horseradish to cured presa Iberico pork with chicory, cornichons, sourdough and celeriac – plus plenty of other delectable delights.

Further dates will include:
25th October – Matthias Riccitelli, Argentina
7th November – Stag’s Leap and Chateau, St Michelle Estate WA
21st November – Escudo Rojo and Almaviva, Chile
