Marking 100 years since jazz reached the ears of Britain, Two Temple Place in partnership with leading arts education charity The Arts Society will open to the public from the 27th January – 22nd April for Rhythm & Reaction: The Age of Jazz In Britain. This major exhibition brings together painting, prints, cartoons, textiles and ceramics, moving film, instruments and the all-important jazz sounds, inspecting the influence of jazz on British art, design and wider society. Sushi for just £2.80 To celebrate Veganuary – a month of meat and dairy-free eating – YO! has extended its plant-based menu and launched new vegan dishes available for an incredible £2.80 this January. For both vegan eaters across the UK, and those who want to kick-start their New Year resolutions by joining Veganuary, YO! will be launching some more tasty plant-based dishes that pack a punch. These include the Green Gyoza, spinach dumplings filled with veggie goodness and Agedashi Tofu, a delicious hot tofu dish with daikon, ginger, spring onion and topped with Ponzu sauce at an incredible 86 kcal! The ‘it’ vegetable of the year also makes an appearance as YO! introduces Spicy Cauliflower to the menu – crispy cauliflower marinated in a light spice, garnished with red chilli and spring onions. When: 1st-19th January Find out more 3 Try José Pizarro’s dishes at Craft London Stevie Parle’s much loved #CookbookClub is moving to CRAFT London, starting with the fantastic chef & writer José Pizarro on January 31st. Stevie and the team will cook up a menu based on dishes from José’s latest book ‘Catalonia’ with José joining him in the kitchen. From sardines on toast to calçots and rabbit rice, there will be plenty to feast upon. In addition to the delectable dishes, there’ll be discounted copies of José’s book available to purchase during the evening – with the chance to have them signed too. Available for one night only at Social Wine & Tapas, the five-course menu will offer guests the opportunity to experience carefully curated dishes including Beef Tartare, tomatillo vinaigrette, whipped bone marrow and Buccleuch sirloin, braised cheek and miso caramel.
