Tickets are now on sale for London in the Sky 2017 – with a brand new location and chef line-up confirmed for the exciting edible experience. Suspended 100 feet from the ground, the open-air restaurant will offer brave diners the chance to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner – as well as afternoon and evening drink flights. A sensational gastronomic experience not to be missed, for its 3rd year, the view will move from the Southbank skyline to the iconic vistas around Chelsea Embankment. The table will seat a mere 22 guests per flight, with food prepared and served in front of diners by some of London’s finest chefs in the pop-up kitchen (which is located in the very centre of the table). After being securely fastened in, guests on the platform will be raised from the ground by a mobile crane into the sky – following which the dining experience will commence. Some of the chefs already confirmed to take part are Michael Reid from M Restaurants, Jeremy Page from L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Calum Franklin from the Holborn Dining Room. The full line-up will be revealed in February 2017. In addition to London, events will also take place in Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol and Southampton during summer 2017. Holborn Dining Room Head Executive Chef, Calum Franklin commented: “This is the second year I will be cooking from 100 feet in the air as Holborn Dining Room returns to London in the Sky. What better way to showcase our seasonal and locally sourced British brasserie than with this unique experience overlooking London.” Dates: 19 – 30 July Where: Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground, Chelsea College of Arts, 16 John Islip St, Westminster, London SW1P 4JU Price: Starting from £50.
