Nosh Detox’s Mini Gram Flour Pancakes with Hummus

If you’re a savoury pancake fan, you’ll love this recipe from Nosh Detox. These nutritious creations are packed with spice and flavour for pancakes with a kick

 1 1⁄4 cups of gram flour
 1⁄2 tsp of cayenne pepper
 2 tsp of chopped coriander
 5 cloves of garlic cloves, minced
 1tsp fresh or dried ginger
 4 red peppers
 3 tsp of olive oil
 1⁄2 tsp of sea salt
 1 small red onion, very finely chopped

1 Put the chick pea flour in a large mixing bowl and add 1 cup water, stir to make a soft batter. Add the salt, peppers and cayenne pepper, onion, ginger, and coriander.
2 Mix and leave for 15 minutes.
3 Place 1/2 tbs of olive oil in a large frying pan, over mediumheat.
4 Stir once and place about 1/3 cup batter into centre of frying pan. Treat as if making a pancake.
5 Cook for 3 minutes. Turnover and cook, for one minute; until
6 Repeat with remaining batter, stirring before using.
7 You can buy the hummus or make it fresh.
