This September, visit Ormer Mayfair, the restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Shaun Rankin at Flemings Mayfair, for a series of fine wine packages at its brand-new wine cellar.
To coincide with the restaurant’s new own dedicated entrance on Clarges Street, guests can visit this September to enjoy a range of private wine tastings and bespoke fine wine packages at The Barrel Room, a brand-new wine cellar which has been renovated from the 1850’s original.
Perfect for wine enthusiasts, bon viveurs, family celebrations and client entertaining, these luxurious packages are now available to book with award-winning sommelier and Ormer Mayfair Wine Director Andreas Rosendal. Each of the tailored packages feature six unique wines perfectly paired with a selection of innovative canapés or cheese.
1 Silver – English Wines The Past, Present and Future
What you’ll sip: Featuring the winning wines from the 2016 Paris Blind Tasting – 2012 Rosé, Gusbourne and 2009 Blanc des Blancs, Nyetimber.

2 Gold – A Journey Through Spain
What you’ll sip: Includes wines from the key Spanish regions: Cava, Sherry, Priorat, Verdejo and Rias Baixas, as well as the only Spanish white to gain 100 points by leading US wine critic Robert Parker – 1986 Rioja Blanco, Castillo Ygay.

3 Gold – The Icons of Italy
What you’ll sip: A showcase of some of the greatest wines from the regions Piedmont, Veneto and Tuscany including Barolo, Amarone, Chianti, Brunello and Bolgheri. A special inclusion goes to one of the greatest super- Tuscan wines ever made – 1997 Solaia, Antinomy

For an afternoon of ultimate indulgence, begin your tasting experience with a set lunch in Ormer Mayfair. Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin has created a menu filled with dishes such as cured mackerel tartare with avocado, elderflower and dill sour cream; salt baked sea bass with Parma ham, tomato fondue, black olive caramel and artichoke saffron; and textures of strawberries and cream with meringue and basil.
