This January, AA’s Chef of the Year Simon Rogan will spend one week from at L’Enclume’s sister restaurant, Rogan & Co, to treat guests to a one week only menu designed especially for Simon’s temporary residence.
From Monday 9th until Sunday 15th January, he’ll be serving an exclusive take on some of his most memorable dishes – offering visitors and locals alike the chance to experience past L’Enclume dishes that are no longer on the menu.
With fresh and locally sourced ingredients underpinning all of Rogan’s gastronomic endeavours, foodies can feast on delights such as Coney’s Cornet, an intriguing blend of flavours that helped put Rogan on the map almost a decade ago. As well as some of Rogan’s initial signature dishes, diners will also sample more recent delights such as Cod Yolk Crispy – a deceptively presented dish – or Egg Drop, Hot and Sour Soup – a playful dish that experiments with textures and temperatures.
From Cubes from Land and Sea, Chick “O” Hake in Verjus and Shorthorn Beef with Paprika and Pistachio, Rogan has carefully balanced his menu to ensure an array of unusual and exciting dishes. Tempting desserts will include intriguing treats such as the Expearamenthol Frappe – a dessert comprised of espresso powder, served with a eucalyptus foam on a pear jelly.
