PLUS! Win a 24-piece Robert Welch cutlery collection
Catch the summer sunshine while you can and make the most of long lazy lunches by taking your dining into the great outdoors with Robert Welch’s latest alfresco-inspired, English countryside collection.
Bourton, Hidcote and Kingham, named after Cotswold villages, are the three new cutlery patterns from British designers Robert Welch which will help you to style your table to perfection.
Robert Welch has been designing cutlery and kitchenware for over six decades in the heart of the Cotswolds in Chipping Campden. Today, under the direction of Rupert and Alice Welch, a talented team of designers ensures his timeless and beautiful pieces remain rooted in the company’s DNA, and in the creation of every new product.
All the new collections use the finest 18/10 stainless steel and come with Robert Welch’s 25 year guarantee. Prices from £90-£275.
Inspired by the English countryside, the design is taken from the meandering curves of the river Windrush which runs through the picturesque village of Bourton On The Water. The sleek profile and delicate detailing creates a rustic and hand-crafted quality to the design.
Tip: Looks stunning paired with a natural edge slate and plum blossom linen to add a pop of colour.
Hidcote’s design was influenced by numerous trips to the famous Hidcote Manor, one of England’s great Arts and Crafts gardens. Its elegant tapering pattern and gentle curves are inspired by the garden’s natural forms.
Tip: Match against a palette of rough wood, French Grey linen and a spray of wild lavender. Or, for a fresher look, match with bright greens, vibrant yellows and modern glassware.
Named after the peaceful, unspoilt village of Kingham and its elegant stone, thatched cottages and rolling green fields, this is a contemporary take on a traditional design.
Tip: Looks superb with dusty blush pinks and simple, seasonal flowers which let the quality and elegance of the cutlery shine.
