The Summerhouse Hosts Mount Pleasant Estate Wine Dinner

If you love wine, exquisite food and beautiful surroundings, The Summerhouse’s upcoming wine dinner is a must-try

On Wednesday 28th February, The Summerhouse, idyllically located on the banks of the Grand Union Canal in London’s Maida Vale, will host an exclusive  Mount Pleasant Estate Wine Dinner lead by esteemed, six generation winemaker, Scott McWilliams.

Replicating traditional Hampton’s beach houses with nautical furnishings throughout, The Summerhouse provides the perfect spot for the special evening. Transforming locally sourced, seasonal produce into five delectable dishes, Head Chef Christophe Clerget will be serving an impressive five-course tasting menu, each course expertly paired with a different Mount Pleasant Estate wine.

What’s on the menu:
• Amuse Bouche
• Glass of Moet Chandon, Imperial Brut
• Seared sesame tuna, shaved fennel and citrus salad
• 2011 Lovedale Semillon, Mt. Pleasant
• Seared scallop, saffron & pernod vegetables, samphire & Kasava crisps
• 2007 Cellar Aged Elizabeth Semillon, Mt. Pleasant
• Spiced pork belly, caraway carrots, star anise jus
