Celebrate World Malbec Day with Gaucho

Gaucho will be celebrating World Malbec Day this year with a fantastic week of wine-focussed events from the 17th-23rd of April. Continuing in their #7DaysofGaucho events, the events will showcase the grape at the heart of Argentina’s wine culture, and the incredible malbecs exclusively sold by Gaucho. Events such as A Festival of Malbec, taking place on Saturday 22nd April, will be wine tasting experiences like no other. Guests will sample a selection of over 60 wines, taken directly from Gaucho’s wine list; the largest selection of its kind in the world. Bringing together malbecs from the highest vineyards in the world in Northern Argentina, to malbecs from the windy climbs of Patagonia, the festival will be a truly definitive guide to the grape.

World Malbec Day will be celebrated on Monday 17th April, with all 75 of Gaucho’s exclusive malbecs sold at Gaucho Wine Shop prices to mark the occasion; in most cases this will mean the wines will cost less than half of their usual price. For wine lovers with a sweet tooth, Gaucho’s classic Malbec & Chocolate event will return on Tuesday 18th April for a wine tasting with a twist; guests will sample each Malbec alongside a different style of chocolate which has been paired to match.
