The Groucho Club welcomes London’s foodies to join its members and indulge in gastronomic delights from internationally-acclaimed chefs. Each weekend, The Groucho Club welcomes three renowned chefs to takeover the kitchen, offering cuisines from across the globe. From classic Spanish cuisine with Victor Garvey and sumptuous spice with Ren Patel, plus seasonal treats from Tom Oldroyd, there’s set to be something for every tastebud.

Experience 60 Minutes with… Emma Weymouth & Ceawlin Thynn; Viscount and Viscountess of Weymouth
Taking place as part of China Exchange’s series of Prudential talks, join Emma and Ceawlin as they offer an insight into the lives of well-known guests who have a connection to China, as told to Sir David Tang.

The Viscount and Viscountess will be discussing the story of Longleat, its rich history and most excitingly what’s coming up for them both, including Emma Weymouth’s plans with Emma’s Kitchen at Longleat and beyond.

FIGAF, The Fashion Illustration Gallery’s Art Fair, is returning to Chelsea’s The Shop at Bluebird on June 30th for a three-day event that will connect art collectors with both the best emerging talents and the most established artists making fashion illustrations today.

Building on the success of last years inaugural event, this second edition of FIGAF, will see amongst others, Gill Button, Rosie McGuinness, Luke Edward Hall and Andrea Ferolla line up with David Downton, and Richard Haines. FIGAF presents an incredible opportunity to acquire best in class from an extensive edit of hand crafted works on paper, at entry level prices, direct from the artists.

Highlights include exclusively available new watercolour works that simmer with darkness, by Gill Button alongside a new suite of prints by David Downton made from drawings in his couture archive. Chin, chin! On the 10th & 11th June, Junipalooza will return to Tobacco Dock along with 50 distillers from 14 different countries. Unlike other gin events, Junipalooza promises gin stands hosted by the distillers themselves, category-wide masterclasses, music, food, a cocktail bar hosted by the team at Beefeater Gin and the chance to sample hundreds of gins.

Celebrate English Wine Week at Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa


English wine – and especially Sussex wine – is something in which Ockenden Manor Hotel & Spa is a strong believer. In celebration of English Wine Week (28 May – 5 June), Ockenden Manor is revealing the secrets behind a glass of English wine with the help of its closest wineries with hosted tastings and a specially created tasting menu with food paired to a flight of Sussex wines.

Local winemakers from a handful of Sussex vineyards will each host an ‘apéro-hour’ at the hotel before dinner during the week. After an insightful hour, guests can sit down to a tasting menu to remember, with six courses of brilliant Sussex produce each designed to match a different Sussex wine. Expect home smoked mackerel, hand dived scallop, Trenchmore Farm beef, Barkham Blue cheese and Pineapple Souffle to be the stars of the show as well as the best of early summer produce – jersey royals, English asparagus and fresh raspberries.

Mexico’s iconic masked superheroes will be coming to the UK to take part in “The Greatest Spectacle of Lucha Libre”, an electrifying extravaganza taking place in Manchester’s Albert Hall and London’s York Hall.

Featuring some of the sport’s most exciting names and colourful characters, The Greatest Spectacle of Lucha Libre will invite spectators to experience the acrobatic, mythical, and often dangerous world of Mexico’s masked wrestlers.
